An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Haut-Rhin, France

On Friday, December 3, 2010 at 7:17 PM, a motorist and his passenger noticed in the sky the presence of a group of white luminous points with purplish reflections. The phenomenon gradually disappeared. The First-Level Investigator in charge of a supplementary investigation obtained confirmation from the Riedisheim town hall that, that evening, a humanitarian association had organized a release of "luminous balloons." Pyrotechnic "sticks" (of the Blinklanzen type from Switzerland) had been attached to balloons inflated with helium. No photo was taken, but the confirmation from the town hall and the elements provided leave no doubt about the event in question. The case is therefore perfectly identified.
