An account in Haute-Garonne, France

On August 18, 2009, a person observed from the terrace of their home the passage of a luminous phenomenon. During the observation, which lasted about 7 seconds, the witness saw a ball of yellow-orange color followed by a trail that moved from the northwest toward the south. The phenomenon disappeared gradually in a descending trajectory. Although the brief description of the observation suggests a probable atmospheric reentry, the investigation could not be carried out due to a lack of information despite our follow-ups.
