An account in Is�re, France

On September 6, 1998, at around 8 p.m., witnesses in their garden spotted a circular object above a tree on a neighboring property. According to the witnesses, the object was seen in different sizes and colors. Several people, however, noted that the object seemed to have legs. First stationary above the tree, the object then moved slowly across the sky. One of the witnesses was able to film it for a few minutes before it completely disappeared. A few days later, a person alerted by the press testified to the gendarmerie about the flight of a child's balloon inflated with helium, shaped and colored like a ladybug with large legs. This balloon, poorly tied to her son's wrist, drifted slowly away in the same area and at the time the witnesses saw the strange object.
