An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Loire-Atlantique, France

On June 11, 1994 at around 11:45 p.m., a witness driving his car observed the presence on the side of the road of a lemon-shaped object with a "cable" on top and dotted with multiple lights. Having slowed to around 20 km/h, the object moved at roughly the same speed, and when the car caught up with it, the object split in two while keeping its shape and size. The object then accelerated, turned to the right, passed over a clump of trees before departing very rapidly straight up. This observation of a silent phenomenon, lasting several minutes, was not explained.
