An account in Orne, France

On August 3, 1992, at around 1 a.m., a motorist sees, above an embankment bordering a field, a white halo of mist shaped like a lens. Located 10 meters from the vehicle and 3 meters high, this mist fades, and the witness then sees an object of oval shape, dark gray, whose upper part is transparent and reveals a human shape in a piloting position, wearing a silver suit and a helmet. The object makes no noise. Waking his wife, seated on the back seat, she observes the same thing. Suddenly, rays of violet light appear in front of and above the vehicle, frightening the witnesses. The driver decides to speed up. His wife is the last to see a cylinder-shaped object disappear at very high speed. No other information was collected on this phenomenon, for which we lack information.
