On November 24, 1990, in the Nantes region, several witnesses observed about ten luminous balls moving at high speed. The investigation would show that these were laser ramps installed by EDF for the festivities of the 20th anniversary of the Cordennais power plant. These lasers were visible up to 40 km away.
