An account in Martinique, France

Around 10 p.m., from the terrace of their home, two people observe in the sky the arrival of the Caravelle coming from Guadeloupe. Their attention is drawn to a white luminous phenomenon that at first seems to follow the plane. At very high speed, this ball of light passes the plane on a straight trajectory and disappears to the west. No particular noise is heard during the observation, which is short (3 to 5 seconds). This event is reported several years later, and the witness specifies that his observation could have taken place between the second half of 1969 and before July 1970 (we therefore date it to January 1, 1970). No other testimony of this type in Martinique and during this period has been collected on this phenomenon, for which we lack information.
