A low hum

Before i begin to post dream, i would like to mention that i took a nap for about 2 hours and had a small cup of coffee within 30 minutes of laying down. I also want to mention that i listened to a loop of this guided dream meditation on my headphones which to me works all the time i listen to it. <URL> . Dream begins with me standing in a narrow hallway of what seems to be an apartment. I am standing next to one of those washer/dryer combo that sits on top of each other. I start to push the combo down the hallway to what i presume is another location in the apartment. I hear the dryer part of it running and feel the humming in my hands. When i go to unplug it, i realize the plug is dangling. I say to myself excitingly "its not plugged in, i must be dreaming" and i felt instant lucidity. I was excited because i finally remembered a dream sign that i constantly have but yet always forget to use to become lucid. This time around becoming lucid was so vivid, i can only explain it as one of those movies where people are watching a grainy tv screen and somehow are able to walk into the scene playing on that tv and everything is sharp and so is the feeling of actually being in that scene. So now i am standing behind this combo and i am curious as to where i was pushing it too. I continue pushing it but as i get further down the hall the combo starts to change. Its still a washer/dryer combo but the width of it starts to shrink. Now its about a foot wide and looks funny being its a washer/dryer combo. I start to hear male voices at the end of the hallway where there is an open door and a lit room. I decide to walk there but instead i float there and rather quickly at that. I am in the room and see 1 guy working on something that he calls his invention and another guy just watching him. When i tried to see what he was inventing, i felt everything around me getting back to that haziness. I start to panic and remembered the "rubbing of the hands to stabilize" trick. I rubbed my palms together and no change so i rubbed them together faster and my palms went through each other. Still no change. I tried to fly since i knew it was going to end but felt i could not get past the ceiling and a thought flashed across my mind saying, "error, no destination assigned". I then woke up and wrote dream down and wondered if i had thought of a place i knew, if this LD would have continued.
