Paralysis
I was helping my family with cleaning. My dad was sitting in a golf cart and my stepsister was on a hill hosing down a wagon. She fliped the wagon and water flowed into the golfcart with my dad in it. Somehow. my dad got out but the golf cart caught fire. The golfcart ended up on an interstate not pulled over... and turned into a car. I realized i was dreaming. it WAS NOT physical this time... and I woke up... maybe. I could not move. I saw a little girl standing on the side of the bed that appeared to be a demon. I knew i was either in sleep paralysis or dreaming. I began to move a little bit and did a reality check by plugging my nose and trying to breathe in. I could still breathe. I began to try to wake up again... and after about 5 minutes of terrified struggling... i was awake for real.
I had a false awakening. I do not remember why, or how I had it, it seemed to dawn upon me out of nowhere that this is a dream. I was very excited, but then, out of experience, calmed down. …
