19th July 2012 I am in sleep paralysis, and a few shapes of things float into vision. I soon find myself 'falling out of bed' however, and wait for myself to hit the floor and be in a dream. I expect to feel the impact, but do not. I find myself on the floor and, although I feel ready to get up, I rub my hands together in an attempt at stabilisation. I get up and go to the window. I try just hurling myself at the window, but to no avail. I then open the window and peer out into the empty street outside. Although I am convinced I am dreaming, I do a nose-plug RC just to check and, sure enough, I can still breathe. I open the window and jump. Unfortunately I hit the street, unable to fly, but this does not hurt me at all. I then find myself in a place outside a cottage I used to live in. I walk around, leaving doors open. At one point I tell myself to make sure to attempt to <PERSON> upon waking up. It then occurs to me that I should be focusing on the things I want to do in an LD. I peer up at the overcast sky and try to shout "Dash!" (of course calling my favourite pony), but find my voice to be rather quiet. I shout again and this time make some noise. I spot a dot in the sky and assume, or rather expect, it to be Rainbow Dash. She comes into view and is flying down towards the ground, although not towards me. Eventually, I manage to find her. We walk around the garden of the cottage a bit, at one point going towards the neighbours' house. I look into their garden and think how realistic it looks. At one point I approach a closed door and imagine there is something nasty on the other side. I open it and head through with my companion but find nothing. (So far Rainbow Dash has not spoken to me in either of the dreams she has appeared in). I look up and shout "let us go!", inviting her to race me in flight. I attempt to fly, but fail at first. I remember my own technique of flying I had come up with for LDing and it works fine. As I am flying up and up I see the moon in the sky, but then realize it is accompanied by another two. They are all quite large and look slightly different. I think how beautiful it is. Soon, one moon transforms until it looks the same as another. Thinking how it would not be good to go into space if I am trying to race, I head back down and end up landing. Rainbow Dash has changed into some peculiar little creature with blonde hair. Somewhat annoyed, I try to transform her with little success. She soon becomes <PERSON>, however, and I think how this is better than nothing. I eventually decide to go through a door which I imagine will transport us somewhere else. I do so. I find I am losing the dream, however, as it seems more like a thought than reality. I spin around, but find myself spinning in bed. Assuming I have woken up, I lose lucidity (but it is an FA).
