Dream notes, lucidity, time. method etc * * The date entry of this is wrong, I thought I would share some of my experiences from before joining the forum! This 'crazy' dream was about a week ago.. In waking life, I do not have a games console... Not had one for years since the ORIGINAL chunky Sony PlayStation (One) (<PERSON> lucidity. Is Not that a DILD? . early morning ~4.30AM ish) I Am in a big city, with high rise glass sky scrappers, smaller and older 5,6 or 7 floors low rise etc... like New York In the bottom right of my vision (which is exclusively 1st person), I have a little square map, in which there is a black dot in the middle which is me... The map scrolls when I move, keeping me centred. There are green dots on the map, which are other people in the city scene, which is not very densely 'populated' ... I will only see at most 5 or 6 other people in the street i am in. The people are 'tracked' on the map when they move A police car passes, on the map its an alternately flashing white and blue dot... Normal cars are just white dots!! Anyway, I wander around the city a short while, getting used to my surroundings, and it occurs to me that its like 'Grand Theft Auto' with the map. That Is NOT Normal!!!. The bizarreness of that cements my knowledge' I am dreaming!!' (Lucid!) Incidently, other significant features of the city that occur during my rampage in the dream are, that some of the wider boulevard streets I go through, have 'vintage eastern European type' trams running along there central reservation, they are yellow at the bottom, and white at the top (Just like Budapest trams!!) . There is a galvanised steel public art sculpture that looks like the M C Escher impossible triangle. Knowing I am dreaming... and I am 'playing out' a Grand Theft Auto type game on foot in my dream... ... but its all an illusion, so I am free to do whatever I want... I ... go on a one man (petty) crime wave on foot, snatching handbags, pushing over old men with walking sticks, stealing pairs of jeans and trainers on racks displayed outside bizaar type shops store fronts. Vandalising phone boxes etc... Halfway through my rampage, I try to pause the game and then unpause it... It works!! Everything freezes, then continues again!! The 'game' has pause music, which is an instrumental only version of 'Do Not you want me baby', by 'The Human League' so ... When police car dots appear on the map now, they have a red and blue flashing 'capture zone' circle around them... ... The more bad stuff I do, the bigger the capture zone circles get!... I am trying to not get caught So eventually, I end up entering a 'capture zone', the whole map flashes red and blue, and the chase is on!! ... I get chased by a police car, so I run down a cobbled side street with bollards, so they cannot pursue me. ... The police get out of the car and pursue me on foot. As I am running, I am trying to keep them away, by grabbing flare grenades and smoke bombs from my belt, (Where did they come from!?!) and throwing them to distract the police. This goes on for a little while, then I (Wake up in the early hours of the morning)
