A dark figure
So just a little back story: Almost a month ago I swear I thought I saw the silhouette of a spirit. Before I could text my friend and former heart ache about it, I already had a message on my phone from her stating that she thought she saw a ghost. We are both intensely rational people who do not normally say things like this. I was utterly freaked out. I finally fell asleep, and when I did, and I woke up within my friend's spirit. I arose from her body, and I could sense her arise from mine. We swapped places. I could see her house. As I tried to break away from her body, I felt my own spirit being consumed by some demon holding her own hostage. It felt like I was consumed by acid, and my life force was being sucked away in my attempts to rescue her. I woke up gasping for breath and did not sleep for the following 72+ hours.
