Paralysis

For years I have had extremely vivid non-lucid dreams, I have had problems as a kid where I would pass out from just a cut and have extremely vivid, realistic dreams. After being certain I must have had some type of chronic fatigue or something, I was finally diagnosed with Narcolepsy. I sleep at night for 12 hours and wake up feeling like I had not slept at all, and then feel tired throughout the day, and on bad days fall asleep throughout the day. I commonly have sleep paralysis which I used to deal with by just falling back to sleep- but in the last few months the sleep paralysis turned to something much different. I was moving from my body, walking through my dark house. I knew I was asleep and having paralysis but I did not understand what this heaviness was and why I could move from my body. My eyelids were extremely heavy, my limbs too. I can remember feeling like I was holding on to me door slumped over trying to open my eyes and walk. When I started to stress out, I could feel myself waking. I did not want to yet- I was too fascinated. I calmed myself down and I was back, but I was still having the same heaviness problem. I kept trying to wake myself up and I would think okay I am awake! But I would move and the heaviness would still be there and I knew it was a FA. Eventually I woke myself up. To this day I still have no idea what this was. It was different from every single paralysis episode I have had. I seems odd that I would be "fighting" against myself like I was if it were a lucid dream, and I am inexperienced with OBEs so I am not sure. Ever since them I have had full blown lucid dreams. I commonly would wake to use the toilet, and without fail I would enter my dreams without realising. At first, it was actually annoying. I did not really know what to do, how to control them and everything was fuzzy, jumpy, nonsensical and exhausting. Many times even sexual. I still get paralysis as usual also. I have registered here to learn how to control my lucid dreams, to help them to become relaxing, enjoyable and something I look forward to. I would also like to understand the unknown occurrence with the paralysis and heaviness. If you have any information for me, that would be great. Thank you~

Because this is my first post, I guess a good place to start is at the beginning - where my journey into the lucid state first began. I have always had an interest in dreams. My non-lucid dr

4/22/13 I got into bed and just decided to go through my usual process for WILD instead of turning off completely. There are a lot of naps I take where I just practice going to sleep instead
