On June 11, 2014 at around 7:45 p.m., a motorist driving alone was surprised to see, at low altitude in the axis of the road (East or Southeast), a white phenomenon that was "fairly large." He compared the shape he saw to that of a flying saucer, flat on the underside. Continuing on his way, he lost sight of the phenomenon, hidden by trees, but found it again a few kilometers further on as a very small dot in the sky. Only one testimony was collected on this phenomenon. The UAP was visible in the axis of the road, that is, toward the East or Southeast. Several hypotheses were put forward (see the investigation notes). The hypothesis of a misidentification with the Moon at its rising was studied: clear weather, UAP very low on the horizon and continually moving away from the witness, time close to that given for the observation. Furthermore, it should be noted that with an azimuth of 116°, the Moon was visible in the axis of the D25 at the roundabout where the witness spotted the UAP. However, the lack of precision (no direction given during the last phase of observation) prevents formally validating the hypothesis of a misidentification with the Moon. Of average strangeness and low consistency (single witness, no photo, late testimony), this case turns out to be too imprecise to be identified. It is not the witness's visual perception that is in question, but the interpretation the witness makes of his observation through his feelings (astonishment, excitement, observation while driving a car). This case is classified C, due to lack of precision.
