An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Morbihan, France

On the night of February 14, 2010, around midnight, numerous witnesses located around Lorient observed the passage of luminous balls. No noise was heard during the observations, which intrigued the witnesses. Several consistent testimonies were reported to a major newspaper in western France and to Geipan. Following the publication of these testimonies in the press, the owner of a Vietnamese restaurant reported having released, to celebrate Chinese New Year with his guests, about thirty sky lanterns at midnight on the night of February 13 to 14, 2010. The time, the launch location, and the direction of travel of the event, which was filmed, correspond perfectly to the testimonies reported to Geipan.
