Recent testimony (04/06/2008) of an old observation. In August 2006 (maybe the 12th) during "the night of the stars" around 11:30 PM, a witness observes a luminous phenomenon from the pier of Saint-Jean-de-Mont. Two balls of low intensity move above the ocean at low altitude. The observation lasts 30 seconds before the luminosity of these balls becomes intense and they disappear in a fraction of a second. No other testimony concerning this phenomenon has been collected. This observation resembles that of flying lanterns but we lack details and information.
