An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Ain, France

On November 28, 1981 at 12:45 AM, two gendarmes on duty observed in the sky the presence of an extremely bright light. It was stationary and seemed to blink. Observation with binoculars allowed them to distinguish around the edge of this light flashes of several colors. These turned on and off in a disorderly manner. The gendarmes had a celestial map, and they located the luminous point to the left of the constellation Orion. This observation lasted several hours. After checking with astronomy software, these witnesses had certainly seen, that night, Sirius, which is particularly visible in the sky at that time of year.
