Knocking

October 2011 - Visit a house and ask for Trick or Treat - Report what you were given - Become one of the 13 Gods of Olympus (Zeus, Posiedon, Hades, Athena, Hera, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, <PERSON>, Hephaestus, <PERSON>, <PERSON>, and <PERSON>) I had an unreasonable amount of problems with the basic task. Whenever I knocked at a place, people either would not open the door, claim that it is late and they want to sleep, or state that we do not celebrate Halloween around here. During one dream I considered doing the advanced task, but realized that I did not know enough about Hades, which is the god I chose to become. I am walking through my street hoping to finally complete the basic totm. I cannot believe how hard I am failing at it, it seems so simple. I decide to summon <PERSON> to help me out and she promptly appears. We go to the first house to ask for Trick or Treat and I transform myself into a half gargoyle / half human. As the door opens I roar and <PERSON> asks for Trick or Treat. "... you are stupid, we do not do that around here." He closes the door. I am pissed, why is this not working... <PERSON> is on her way to the next house but I call her back. I knock on the door rather vigorously. "What do you want? Go away!" "Listen up friend... you are going to move your ass to the kitchen and get us some fucking candy." He looks at me rather offended. I show him my half transformed hand and grow long claws out of it. He gets scared and runs into the house. A few seconds later he comes back with a big bag full of candy and hands it over with his hands shivering. "See, was that so hard?" He closes the door. "You know... that totally does not count." "Why not?" "This was quite a bit closer to robbery than it was to Trick or Treating." I shrug it off and decide that I have completed the task. November 2011 - Go into your school (old or current) and make all your teachers mad - Visit a place in your favorite book, video game, movie, TV show, etc. I did not attempt the basic task but managed to do the advanced on the first try. I cannot recall where I went for it though, I had rather bad recall on that dream and did not write it down. December 2011 - Fly up in the sky and find out where all the snow comes from - Find Santa and deliver presents with him. After become lucid at home, I decide to quickly fly into the sky and complete the basic task. I have no plans to complete the advanced one, I just want to do the basic one quickly and then teleport to Teraluna. Whilst flying upwards I realize that it is not actually snowing, which is sort of an issue if I want to see where the snow is coming from. But then for some reason I notice that is is actually snowing... heh. I do not have to fly very far until the snow turns into rain. I am not really sure what I was expecting. A magic machine of sorts perhaps? The rain just gradually turns into snow due to the low temperatures. I shrink myself down to the size of a rain drop and follow it down. It gradually crystallizes, it is quite beautiful. I am satisfied and turn back to my normal size in order to teleport... January 2012 - Set off fireworks in a crowded place and record what happened/how the DCs reacted. - Go back in time and see yourself at the moment you became lucid. I only did the basic task during a rather long and interesting lucid which I will probably post at a later time. I did not attempt the advanced one.
