The feeling of being watched

I have tone of dreams about masquerade parties, this one was realy weird though. It was in venice, and it was at a carnival, it was night time and i was walking along a street trying to get to 'somewhere', I kept wandering round for a bit, then it switched. I was in a really old library, it was like one with lots of rows but it was old and wooden, really classy and beautiful! I was sitting at a old wooden table with lots of books, i remember i wanted to get out so i ran along the isle of books and went out the door, the carpet was so beautiful! i pretty sure it was red and the walls were all wooden and old, it was really nice. I kept walking along the isle and there were these stairs i went down, to the right there were big wooden doors, I kept walking and pushed the doors open. Everything went really white, and there was music, but old fashioned kind. I was at a masquerade ball thingy, there were heaps of people dancing and talking, it was all white marble i think and dark wood, everyone was wearing old fashioned clothes, I think that was the theme. Everyone had masks on, i did not though There were big chandeliers and the room had an amber glow to it, because it was lit by candles i think. There were marble stairs leading up to another level, not many people were walking up there, i pushed past people and had a feeling i was being watched, which was creepy. I remember walking up the stairs and thinking 'i will see them.. i am going to see them'? I think I know who I was thinking about.. Anyway, I got to the top of the stairs and everything went white, and i wokeup.
