Screaming or howling

It was dark, and my family and I make a rush to our storm shelter just outside our mobile home. It is not the same as our real on, though. Across the street, I see the howling monster work its way towards us. "INSIDE THE SHELTER, GET INSIDE!" I shouted, and everybody rushes inside. The tornado gets closer, and I close the door, choosing to sit on the step underneath it. I push the rods into the latches to keep the door from opening, but the latches seem, strange. Just a chain welded to the wall of the shelter, while the actual latch fits through a hole on the door. There are three on the bottom of the door and three on the top. I latch them all. It gets closer and closer, then finally the tornado is right on top of us. How do I know? The door lifts up, restrained by its chains up it lifts up showing the storm approach us. When it was over the shelter, I had to grasp the handle to hold the door down, when the air gets really thin, like the air gets sucked out of me. It soon departs, and the air gets quiet. I unlatch the door and look around at the damage. My house is still standing, the cars are all there, but there are numerous holes punched in the house, the garage, and the cars. As we are wandering around, police start racing up and down the streets, and I look up toward the storm, and to my surprise, there is another twister heading in our direction. I start to rally everybody together. "THE SHELTER, GET TO THE SHELTER NOW! NOW!!!" Everybody just starts sauntering towards our shelter, seemingly oblivious to the tornado in the distance. As it closes the gap I notice some people are missing, namely my sister. I scream again, "GET TO THE SHELTER NOW!! NOW! GET TO THE SHELTER!" and my sister still does not appear. Although, a car of asian women pulls up, and gets out ever so slowly. I Look at them with curiosity, but fear moreso because the tornado is literally accross the street and these women are taking their time! Finally they make it to the shelter, and I close the door and latch it. As did last time, the door opens up a bit and I have to hold it down, but it yanks free and breaks a few chains, allowing the door to open up all the way. We look right into the maw of the twister, but I manage to get a hold of the door and keep it down. As it passes, we open the door to inspect the damage. I notice a piece of my car is missing off my trunk, but we find it and replace it. Then I make my way to our house, and notice my sister is relaxing in our recliner, and I say "Why did not you go to the shelter?" She said something like "They say stay in the house during a tornado" to which I replied "In a mobile home? NO! They say get out of the mobile home! If there is no shelter you are supposed to get in a ditch." Actually, I believe there were 2 tornadoes to begin with and we did not get out of the shelter the first time until after the second, and then the third hit.
