Voices

So I have never kept a dream journal before. Hopefully this helps in some way or another. I woke up at about nine this morning after falling asleep at about five am. Usually when I manage to stay up that late and only get in four hours of sleep I do not dream at all, or at least I do not recall the dream. Yet, that was not the case, as I had the usual nightmare. Running naked down a windowless and door-less hallway, I knew something was chasing me even though I could not see it. I always get the distinct impression that it is male. I ran and ran though the maze like hall till a sound stopped me like usual. It sounded like flesh scraping or rubbing up against hard stone. I was lucid this time and tried to change the nightmare by giving myself clothes which did not work. Usually after I try to change one thing in the dream my pursuer catches me but this time I was able to try three things. I tried giving myself clothes, I tried to give myself a weapon -focused on a ball bat as it seemed simplest- and then I tried just shifting the scene outside. None of them worked and I would up getting caught by No Eyes. No Eyes is a pale white gender-less corpse that is all twisted and contorted. It has eyes, only hollow pits. No nose and a ragged slash for a mouth as well as crooked rotting teeth. It never speaks, only hisses its breath between its teeth. Once No Eyes catches me it is always the same. I become hypnotized as it stares at me with it eyeless pits and hisses. Suddenly more corpses like No Eyes break through the ground beneath me. They are just like No Eyes, but they are not as maggot white and are considerably more decayed. They then proceed to eat me alive while I hear a male voice laughing from somewhere. Right as I am about to die, I woke up this time instead of cycling through the same nightmare more times. Pretty gruesome. I have yet to figure out anything that I can do while lucid to stop the dream without triggering the climax of the nightmare.
