Screaming or howling

I had this dream on December 14 I was at an outside event. There were quite a lot of people seated on chairs in a grassy area and they were watching a man on a stage. There was a boy, my age, that was supposed to be performing, but he did not want to and he was walking away as I was passing by. I started to talk to him. -- I was in an outside mall area. I was going into a restaurant with an ex. For some reason, I was meeting him for lunch. As we were sitting at the table, he became very rude to our waiter and I remembered why I had separated from him. I got up, told him I was leaving, and then walked outside. I realized since I would ridden here with him, I did not have a car. I thought of calling my fiance, but knew it would be difficult to explain why I was here. I was not entirely sure myself. I thought of calling my parents to come get me, but I did not want to have to beg. I then thought maybe I could ride the bus. As I was walking around the mall area to the parking area, I saw rental cars parked and taxis. I intended to go rent a car, just for the 10 minute drive home. As I was looking at the selection, I noticed my ex was walking toward me. He did not look happy. There were other men with him. As they walked up, he started to harass me. I tried to get away, but he grabbed me and started to beat me. I remember throwing punches back in defense, even trying to snap his neck. His friends pulled me off, started to beat me too. People that were watching, saw me getting beaten to death, came in, tried to help. I remember crawling away, tears streaming down my face with blood, my face puffy, trying to call my fiance. He answered and I asked if he could pick me up. He asked what was wrong and I told him just to get me- I blacked out then. I came to and I was laying on the asphalt in the parking lot, my fiance having just arrived. There was a mirror or something reflective in front of me and both of my eyes were almost swollen shut, were black, my lip busted and my face distorted and bloody. I started crying and I just held my fiance. I then saw my ex and his friends. They were carrying AK-47's. I panicked as they were walking toward me. They opened fire on the crowd and my fiance took off to go fight. I crawled under a car, barely breathing, watching the men walk past me. Other people started trying to hide beside me and drew attention to us. The men with guns started shooting in our direction. My fiance leapt under the car just as a grenade was thrown our way. He threw it back out just before it blew up, taking a man's face with it. I was shuddering and as I turned to look at my fiance, I saw what looked like a laser appear on his chest. I saw blood pouring out and I began to shriek in horror. I was screaming "Please do not leave me, please do not go" as he held my hand, his eyes glassy. He collapsed beside me and I started to sob. I looked at a man next to me with a gun and somehow, he was my fiance, only he was not. The man that had just died was not my fiance, the man beside me was. It was very confusing. I clung to the other man, telling him it would be okay and he was giving me weird glances.
