From when I was a very young child /T+0.00.00/ Me, mom and dad are in the woods, possibly camping. It is dark, despite being the early afternoon, possibly due to the canopy of leaves above our heads. There are hundreds of mottled pale tree trunks shooting from the earth in every direction. They ground is covered in golden leaves, some illuminated by swatches of light that have penetrated the unseen ceiling of leaves. It is quite beautiful. My mom and dad are infront of me, perhaps 20 or 25 feet, with my dad on the left and 10 feet away from my mom. We form an isosceles triangle, and I am at the most acute point. /T+0.00.45/ I notice a snake, one of those red, white and black ones, on the ground near my mom's feet. I watch it uncoil, my mom gasping as she too becomes aware of it. I try to scream. /End dream T+0.00.50/
