So here we are inside and I am checking the place out there is a dinning area above a few short steps and the front door. I noticed these small iguanas around us and figured it was quite common to see some outdoor creatures since we were outdoors. They are running around. I saw a medium sized one almost 2 feet long and it was trying to hit my daughter with it is tail. So I walked over and tried to remove it because it was persistent at hitting her with it is tail and I did not want it to catch her in the eye. I went to grab it and all of it sudden it leaped at me digging it is sharp teeth into my hand. It caught me on the first knuckle to my pointer finger and every time I attempted to get it off it dug deeper. I was screaming and my husband came over and began opening it is mouth forcefully breaking it is jaw killing the reptile. I have blood of the dead creature on me as well as my own so I go to wash my hand. I can see the deep puncture marks and every time I made a fist it opened these gashes more revealing the deep wounds I had. My hand was stinging and I was in pain. I began to notice more of these iguanas were entering our cabin one of them was on the wall in leaping mode and sure enough it did hissing. We quickly moved out the way and it leaped at us again. I had to protect my daughters one being a toddler. My husband grabs one of these reptiles and snaps it is neck in half.. I did not feel bad but a sense of relief because these things were trying to attack us and I just did not feel any remorse for them. He did this a few times killing some but more were coming. We grabbed machetes.. do not know how they got there but they were available to us. We began killing them off as some were leaping to attack and others were running away. My husband goes up the stairs and see more on the dinning room table some were mating. One leaped for him and he killed it instantly. There were bb guns upstairs and I even gave one to my daughter to use and we began to use them against these attacking reptiles. Eventually we kill most off and we do not see anymore in the cabin. The front door opens and the people who I guess run the place began praising us. Telling us the spirit was with us protecting against the evil that was against us. The sun from outside had lit the room and I had never been so happier to see sunlight .. we got out of there leaving the bad experience behind us. I woke up
