I am at my mother's house in my sister's old bedroom. I look in her wardrobe mirror and I start dying my hair a darker brown color with hair dye that was sitting on the dresser. As I do this I reach for the hair dye again but accidentally scoop up blonde instead of the brown I was using and coat my hair with it. My hair starts falling out and dissolving, leaving me with a huge bald spot on my head. I start crying because I have to shave my head now. I have been trying to grow my hair out long and this ruined all that hard work. Out of the corner of my eye I see my sister through the mirror. "<PERSON>!" I yell out. "I lost all my hair.I am so upset!" I get a sudden burst of lucidity "Wait a minute...Is this real?" I ask her. "Yes this is real," she says. "Are you sure?" "Of course!" I do not trust her so I attempt to fly. As soon as the thought hits me I burst from the dream scene into the night sky like a rocket. As I fly I hear this song playing perfectly in the background... It is been a long time since I have been lucid and I am ecstatic. I am flying over a very futuristic looking city. It reminds me of Tokyo - except better. I zip through the skyscrapers and then decide I should descend. I want to focus more on an intellectual pursuit than games. I land in what appears to be a a courtyard park square. It is very well lit by street lamps and clean. There are benches in the center of the square sidewalk, surrounded by grass, fountains, and cobblestone roads. I look around and notice a young lady walking with a notepad in her arm. She has long, sandy-brown hair tied loosely to one side of her head. It looks like silk. She is also wearing a collared white shirt cuffed at the elbows with tight denim jeans. I find her to be very intelligent-looking and pretty at the same time. I call out to her, "Jessica!" She stops as I walk up to her. That was weird.I have never seen her before. I have no clue why I called to her like I knew her. She looks at me. "Wait," I say,"What is your name?" "Jessica," she responds. "How did I know that though?" "I do not know. You tell me. How did you know?" "Maybe it is because I am the dreamer?" She smiles and nods as if the answer helped her realize something. "Well...you becoming lucid was not part of what was planned," she tells me. "I am sorry though I have to get going." I am about to ask her why but she answers before I can spit it out. "I am trying to decipher a word from the book you are reading that you did not understand," she says with a smile. Then everything vanishes right before I have the chance to ask her what word it was. I have just started reading a new book series. It is funny how dreams can surprise you. UPDATE 1/14/13: I recently visited downtown and came across a square courtyard that looked just like the one in this dream. I had never been here before and thought it was pretty cool that I found a place that so closely resembled the dreamscape I had. Of course I Am sure there are thousands of places that look similar to this - it still made me do a double take.
